Filing a DMCA Notice
To report copyright infringement, send a written notice including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the infringing material and its location (URLs, account info)
- Your contact information (address, phone, email)
- Statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
- Statement under penalty of perjury that information is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Physical or electronic signature
Incomplete notices may not be processed.
Counter-Notification
If you believe content was wrongly removed, send a counter-notice including:
- Identification of removed material and location before removal
- Statement under penalty of perjury that removal was mistaken or misidentified
- Your name, address, phone, email
- Consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district (or Delaware if outside US)
- Physical or electronic signature
We may restore content in 10–14 business days unless complainant files court action.
Repeat Infringers
Boundless will terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
API Usage Note
Boundless routes API requests and does not host user-generated public content. DMCA notices regarding content generated via API should identify the account and relevant request metadata. We will cooperate with valid legal process.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowing material misrepresentation may result in liability.
