Welcome to Boundless API. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Boundless Intelligence Labs, Inc. ("Boundless," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware corporation, governing your access to and use of our website at boundlessapi.com (the "Site"), our developer console and dashboard, and our unified API gateway and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, clicking "I Agree," or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ARBITRATION NOTICE: Section 18 requires binding individual arbitration and waives class actions. Please read it carefully.

01Service Overview

Boundless operates a large language model (LLM) API router and aggregator. The Service provides a unified, OpenAI-compatible API that routes your requests to third-party model providers ("Model Providers") and, where applicable, to Boundless-hosted inference endpoints.

Boundless is not the creator of the underlying AI models. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or availability of any model output. Model availability, pricing, and capabilities may change at any time.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You may not use the Service if you have been previously suspended or banned, or if your use would violate applicable law, including U.S. export control and sanctions regulations.

03Accounts and Security

3.1 Registration

To use most features, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current information (e.g., email address). You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.

3.2 API Keys

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. You must:

  • Keep API keys confidential;
  • Not embed keys in client-side code or public repositories;
  • Revoke compromised keys immediately via the dashboard.

Notify us at support@boundlessapi.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3.3 Organizational Accounts

If your account supports team or organization features, an administrator may configure settings for members, including spend limits, model access, and optional request logging. Administrators are responsible for member compliance with these Terms.

04Payment and Credits

Your use of paid features is governed by our Billing & Credits Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

  • The Service uses prepaid credits denominated in U.S. dollars (USD).
  • Usage is deducted based on actual token consumption per model pricing.
  • By enabling auto-recharge, you authorize us to charge your payment method as described in our Auto-Recharge Authorization.
  • Taxes may apply and are your responsibility where required by law.

05Model Provider Terms

5.1 Flow-Down Terms

The Service enables access to models operated by third-party Model Providers. By using a model, you agree to comply with that provider's applicable terms, policies, and usage restrictions ("Model Terms"), in addition to these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. We maintain a Model Provider Terms Index for reference. You are responsible for reviewing Model Terms before use.

5.2 Restricted Models and Regions

Certain models may not be available in certain countries, industries, or use cases. You may not circumvent geographic, account-type, or model restrictions using VPNs, proxies, or other means.

5.3 Availability

We provide access to models on an "as available" basis. Model Providers may suspend, modify, or discontinue models without notice. Boundless may remove or restrict models at any time. We are not liable for model unavailability, degradation, or policy changes by Model Providers.

06User Content

6.1 Inputs and Outputs

You may submit prompts, files, and other content ("Input") and receive model-generated responses ("Output"). Together, Input and Output are "User Content." You retain ownership of your Input, subject to Model Provider terms regarding Output. Boundless does not claim ownership of your User Content.

6.2 License to Boundless

You grant Boundless a limited license to process User Content solely to provide the Service, including routing requests to Model Providers, metering usage, and enforcing these Terms.

6.3 Default: No Prompt Logging

Unless you opt in to request logging in your account settings, Boundless does not store your prompts or completions after a request is completed. See our Data Policy.

6.4 Opt-In Logging

If you enable request logging, you grant Boundless permission to store and display your User Content to you (and your organization's admins, if applicable) for debugging and observability. Boundless will not use opt-in logs for model training unless you separately consent.

6.5 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for User Content and ensuring you have all rights necessary to submit it. You represent that your User Content does not violate law, third-party rights, or our Acceptable Use Policy.

07Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension, termination, and forfeiture of unused promotional credits.

08Prohibited Conduct

Without limiting the AUP, you may not:

  • Resell or sublicense API access without written authorization;
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities of the Service;
  • Interfere with or overload the Service (including circumventing rate limits);
  • Use the Service to develop a directly competing API aggregation product;
  • Misrepresent your location or identity to access restricted models.

09Intellectual Property

Boundless owns all rights in the Service, software, branding, and documentation, excluding User Content and third-party models. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Feedback you provide may be used by Boundless without restriction or compensation.

10Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties including Model Providers, Stripe (payments), and OAuth providers (Google, GitHub). Your use of those services is subject to their terms. Boundless is not responsible for third-party services.

11Data Protection

11.1 Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal data.

11.2 Data Processing Agreement

If you use the Service for commercial purposes and process personal data subject to GDPR or similar laws, our Data Processing Agreement applies and is incorporated by reference.

12Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOUNDLESS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE; MODEL OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR NON-INFRINGING; OR THAT ANY MODEL WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE AT ANY PRICE OR PERFORMANCE LEVEL.

AI OUTPUTS MAY BE INCORRECT, BIASED, OR UNSAFE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR EVALUATING OUTPUTS BEFORE USE.

13Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • BOUNDLESS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
  • BOUNDLESS'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO BOUNDLESS IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Boundless and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, Model Terms, or applicable law.

15Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if required by law or a Model Provider.

You may close your account at any time via dashboard settings. Unused purchased credits are subject to our Refund Policy. Promotional credits are non-refundable.

16Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes (e.g., email or in-dashboard notice) at least 15 days before they take effect, unless changes are required by law or for security reasons.

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and contact support regarding any eligible refund.

17Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your state apply.

18Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

18.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact support@boundlessapi.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

18.2 Binding Arbitration

Except for small claims court matters, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Delaware or remotely by mutual agreement.

18.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND BOUNDLESS WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS ARBITRATION.

18.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing privacy@boundlessapi.com with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account email.

19General

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Billing Policies, AUP, and DPA (if applicable) constitute the entire agreement.
  • Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger or sale.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our reasonable control.
